Toastmaster / MC (Master of Ceremonies)

Meet Marte - the person we can blame for all of this. She introduced us, so it only felt right that she should also be responsible for keeping our wedding day running smoothly!

For our American guests: a toastmaster is essentially the wedding MC. Marte will be coordinating the speeches, keeping the schedule on track, and making sure nobody accidentally turns their 3-minute toast into a 30-minute TED Talk.

She will be reaching out to the guests we've asked to give speeches, but if you'd like to say a few words, please get in touch with her here:

We love speeches and stories, but we kindly ask that they stay short and sweet. Marte has been given full authority to enforce this rule, and if necessary, she has permission to start playing Oscar-style walk-off music. We can't promise she'll actually do it... but we also can't promise she won't. 🎵😇
